Hope everyone is well! I've been down and out the last couple of days with sinus/throat/lung infections. I did well to hold out - I was the last one in the office to get sick. I thought I'd succeeded at not catching anything but to no avail.
Today's update is to let you know what to expect in the way of releases. I've heard you and your interest in The Boys from East Harbor universe and am accelerating my release of these works. Here's what's coming:
Logan and Noah's story only has a few more chapters (not sure exactly how many) but since this work is autobiographical, there is a finite amount to write. I hope to complete this work in the next month or so. Trying to decide if I should write a Epilogue or not. Does that interest you as a reader?
"The Adventures of Mason McCutcheon"
The story that popped into my head one morning and ended up being my first fiction work published seems to be popular and I appreciate your readership! Mason's a fun character to write about. I may slow down on how frequently I publish these stories so I can focus on The Boys from East Harbor, but I already have the next few stories brewing.
The Boys from East Harbor: Michael and Derek
I think I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again. As a reader, I get frustrated when chapters of a complicated work come out so far apart you forget characters' names or lose track of plot lines. Michael is already 25% longer than Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment so I know I run that risk if my publishing catches up to where I am writing the story. That's why taking one of the characters and introducing this universe with Derek's story was appealing to me. Today I'm working on getting the introductory chapter to Derek's story written. I'm toying with the idea of trying to write and release both Derek and Michael's chapters in chronological order (sections are dated to help readers understand the timeline).
From your interest, and my desire to get started with putting this work out there, I think I'm going to try to get this out there sooner rather than later and just try to make sure I'm writing/editing far enough ahead, and fast enough, that I don't leave you out in the lurch.
Again, I appreciate you all - your interest in my stories and your taking time to let me know.
Other Projects
I'm going to try to make sure my other projects don't interfere with my publishing these stories, but I'm excited about this project and wanted to share with you. I have agreed to ghostwrite a non-fiction book. This isn't the first ghostwriting work I've done - I've written a number of magazine articles and other non-fiction publications. This work will be fun because it is about the music industry - should be a lot of fun.
Hope you are all having a great weekend! Take care!
